Growing trend of Co-living spaces in India

India's co-living segment is driven by working salaried professionals and students currently. According to a recent survey by Co-live, covering 20,000 respondents around 91% of the occupiers of the co-living space prefer to live alone as compared to the shared living.
There is also a demand for a one bedroom or a studio apartment, with 82% of the occupiers demanding the same.
The concept of co-living involves offering facilities such as a common kitchen, dining area, lounge as a common work zone which occupants can use. This is besides the private bedroom with attached bathroom that each occupant has.
Co-living is comparatively safer than living alone in a metro city. Lockable bedrooms with personal cupboard are available for your valuables. There are cameras in common areas like parking, stairs corridor and others for your safety and security.
Co-living is a latest trend of communal living in which residents get a private bedroom in a furnished home with shared spaces. Unlike traditional apartments, co-living is attractive to tenants due to affordability, flexibility, included amenities, and a sense of safety.
